Sir Elton John Final Australian Tour

The start of 2023 brought the return of Sir Elton John, the legendary British singer, songwriter, and pianist, as he bid adieu to the stage with his final Australian tour ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road’. Elton John’s final Australian tour captivated audiences with its grandeur, as the concert venues were transformed into magnificent spectacles of lights, sound, and Video that perfectly complemented the timeless music of Elton John and elevated the whole experience for everyone in attendance. Big Picture was again brought on to supply this tour with all its video needs which included a 10-camera video system and over 2000 tiles of Roe LED panels backed up by Brompton Processing. Big Picture technicians also worked alongside our international friends from Solotech to help pull off a show of this size.

One of the standout features of these stadium shows was the innovative use of LED screens, which added a mesmerizing visual element to the concert experience. These high-resolution screens displayed a dynamic mix of live footage, close-ups of Elton John’s performance, and stunning visual effects that synchronized with the music. The LED screens also allowed for live footage to be broadcasted throughout the stadium, ensuring that even those seated far from the stage could enjoy a close-up view of Elton John’s performances. The integration between the Panasonic broadcast cameras and the Ross Video Carbonite Touch Drive switcher was a key component of the video production setup for Elton John’s final Australian tour.
